WBZ-TV/CBS HDTV TRANSMISSION FACILITY
Needham, Massachusetts
New 11,000 SF high definition television transmission facility constructed at the base of a 1,400 foot transmission tower. The building structure included a steel frame with masonry and metal panel walls. Unique features of this facility include a lightening protection grid as well as a galvanized structural steel and mesh canopy to protect the building from ice falling off of the tower.
