BENTLEY UNIVERSITY, DANA CENTER

Waltham, Massachusetts

Gymnasium renovation, involving gym flooring replacement and the installation of a demising wall, creating a 17,621 SF arena gym with retractable bleachers on one side and a 12,751 SF practice gym space on the other. Besides new flooring, the scope of work included the installation of new basketball equipment and video display boards.

The new gym format supports the school’s campuswide focus on student overall wellbeing by making the Dana Center more widely available to more students during more hours of the day – for basketball, pickleball, volleyball, dodgeball, yoga, dance, cheer, and more.

“Your project manager and superintendent took care to develop a plan on how to execute the project, and they worked that plan. It was clear that they were our active partner in making this project a success! I look forward to working with Bowdoin again.”
