The project, designed by Perry and Radford Architects, included major utility upgrades and dormitory renovations to four buildings. The scope included the removal and replacement of the old steam boilers with new high-efficiency hot water and steam boilers serving four buildings. Automatic temperature controls in all four buildings were revamped and each dorm room has their own control. The project also involved new acoustic ceilings in the corridors, removal and replacement of wood subflooring, reworking/refinishing of interior wood trim, renovation of existing bathrooms, as well as minor upgrades to the building exterior.

“Your project manager and superintendent took care to develop a plan on how to execute the project, and they worked that plan. It was clear that they were our active partner in making this project a success! I look forward to working with Bowdoin again.”
