HILLTOP RETAIL REDEVELOPMENT
Saugus, Massachusetts
Construction of three new retail buildings totaling 24,000 SF at the front of the former Hilltop Steakhouse site on Route 1. Part of the redevelopment of the entire site, the new retail buildings house 110 Grill, Starbucks, Salem Five Bank and several other tenants. Site logistics were carefully coordinated to maintain access for Avalon’s construction of new residential buildings directly behind the retail pads. The iconic Hilltop sign was refurbished and reinstalled as an integral part of this development. Design was by HFA Architects.
