The safety and well-being of Bowdoin Construction’s employees, subcontractors and clients has always been our highest priority. We have experienced an excellent safety record throughout our history and have a consistently favorable Experience Modification Rating (EMR). Bowdoin has won numerous awards in safety excellence from the Associated Builders and Contractors of Massachusetts and the National Safety Council. Our commitment to safety is reinforced by our full-time Safety Manager who is an OSHA instructor, and he makes weekly visits to all of our job sites to ensure that Bowdoin’s strict safety policies and procedures are being enforced. In addition, Bowdoin’s Project Superintendents have completed the OSHA 30-hour safety certification and are trained in CPR and the use of defibrillators.

“It is safe to say that Bowdoin’s dedication to working as a key member of the development team went a long way to making this project a success. Your staff’s intense management, control of subcontractors, and skill at problem solving were the key… It was not simply their hard work, but their significant skill in controlling costs and bringing about the necessary contractor participation to complete the project on time.”
