Bowdoin Continues Transformation for South Shore Educational Collaborative

Bowdoin continues construction of South Shore Educational Collaborative’s new facility. The project, designed by Roth & Seelen, Inc., involves converting an existing industrial warehouse into a new new state-of-the-art school. Bowdoin is renovating the existing 58,000 s.f. building as well as adding a 28,000 s.f. addition. The new facility will contain classrooms, an indoor pool, offices, an expanded kitchen, gymnasium, locker rooms, a cafeteria, and increased bathroom facilities.

The Collaborative provides specialized educational and residential programs and services for students and adults diagnosed with a wide range of intellectual, educational, emotional, social, physical, and/or medical challenges.
