MEDFIELD, MA

Bowdoin Construction recently completed a new 15,000 SF Arts & Athletics Center for Montrose School.  The Ribbon Cutting was celebrated on September 7th.

Designed by Robert Olson Architects, the new facility has an exterior façade of brick and GFRP panels and the interior features a full size basketball court, performance stage and a balcony.  The new facility includes a window lined lobby, hard wood flooring, mezzanine seating, retractable bleachers, and theatrical lighting and acoustics.

The Arts & Athletics Center will serve the entire Montrose community for their growing core theater, music and sports programs.  This building will also house all school events including speaker’s series, assemblies, graduation, reunions and special functions.

Montrose School is an independent college preparatory day school with a Catholic tradition for girls in grades 6-12. Montrose educates young women to pursue the truth in all they do. Built upon the foundation of a rich liberal arts curriculum, personal character formation and collaboration with parents, a Montrose education challenges each student to cultivate intellect and character, leadership and service, faith and reason.
