Bowdoin Completes New Classroom Building for The Home for Little Wanderers

January 2014

Bowdoin Construction recently completed demolition of three buildings and construction of a new 4,000 SF classroom building. The project, designed by Roundel 47, LLC, was constructed of light gauge framing, cedar shingle siding, asphalt shingle roof, and vinyl clad windows glazed with Makrolon polycarbonate insulating glazing. Extremely durable materials were used on the interior, including impact resistant drywall. The building includes five classrooms, a library, offices, a staff room, and toilet rooms.
