Bowdoin was selected as Construction
Manager for interior and exterior upgrades for SkipJack's Seafood Emporium
in Newton, MA. The project, designed by Aumiller Youngquist, required a
new façade including all new cedar and hardiplank, custom windows and
french doors, new awnings and lighting. The interior required slab cutting
and replacement of underground plumbing systems, new wood flooring in the
bar and dining areas, new quarry tile flooring and acoustical ceilings in
the kitchen, new mahogany millwork and trim, custom glazing, and
jacking/resetting of fixed booth seating. Exterior lot improvements
included new landscaping, sealcoating and striping of the parking lot. All
work was completed within an aggressive six week schedule. |
