National Heritage Museum / Supreme Council

Lexington, Massachusetts Extensive renovations at the National Heritage Museum, featuring the fitout of the new headquarters for the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite. The project, designed by Bechtel Frank Erickson, involved converting two wings of the museum into first class offices and meeting rooms with high-end finishes including raised panel millwork, granite, glass, and bronze rails. Bowdoin also installed new bathrooms and completed renovations to display corridors and a large function room requiring matching of millwork, ceiling systems and finishes. Construction also included a new structural entryway, twenty new windows, and a new parking lot which separates the new office functions and allowed the museum to remain operational throughout construction.
