Bowdoin Recognized with State Senate Citation for Diamond S.T.E.P. Safety Award

NEEDHAM, MASSACHUSETTS

On November 17, 2017, Bowdoin Construction was honored to receive an Official Citation from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Senate, in recognition of Bowdoin’s receipt of the Diamond S.T.E.P. Award for Safety.  Senator Richard Ross visited Bowdoin at one of their jobsites to present the congratulatory citation to Bowdoin’s Safety Manager, Jessie Vieira.  Other attendees for the presentation included Bowdoin’s principals, as well as several representatives from the Associated Builders and Contractors of Massachusetts (ABC).

 

“This is a great accomplishment for our firm, and we appreciate the State Senate’s recognition of Bowdoin’s ongoing commitment to safety,” said Irwin Yanowitz, President of Bowdoin.

The Diamond S.T.E.P. Award is the highest level of recognition for safety that can be attained by contractors through ABC. This is Bowdoin’s second consecutive year receiving the Diamond Award. Bowdoin has been recognized with seventeen consecutive Gold, Platinum, and Diamond Awards for safety through ABC.
