Bowdoin served as construction manager for the conversion of a Franciscan Center in Andover, Massachusetts into a 60,000 s.f. custom-designed school for autistic students. The project, designed by Dyer Brown, involved selective demolition and asbestos abatement followed by a review and replacement of all electrical and HVAC systems, complete rehabilitation of all bathrooms, a new fire suppression system and new fire and security systems. The building was then fitout to accommodate the needs of students with autism. |
