The Hockomock Area YMCA selected
Bowdoin as construction manager for the 52,000 s.f. expansion and
renovation project at the Invensys Foxboro Branch/Kraft Family Center on
their 27 acre site in Foxboro, MA. The project, designed by Annino
Associates, involved extensive pre-construction services followed by the
construction of the new Spier Family Aquatic Center featuring a large
indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room; a new gymnasium
with elevated walking/jogging track, expanded wellness center and a group
exercise studio. Also included were new and expanded locker rooms, a new
child watch area, new teen center, new and renovated administration areas
and new community/multipurpose rooms. |
