Bowdoin was retained as construction manager for the cosmetic remodel of
this 103-suite hotel in the heart of Waltham’s Route 128 business
district. The job involved complete guest room and corridor renovations
requiring the installation of new wall covering, ceilings, carpet, paint
and closets. Bowdoin also re-glazed ceramic tile and tubs in all of the
bathrooms. One of the challenges involved in this project was working in
limited spaces of an occupied hotel. In order to keep disruptions to a
minimum, Bowdoin completed all construction in ten room phases, within an
aggressive four-month schedule.
