| Bowdoin Construction is dedicated
to working in collaboration with our clients and A/E partners to incorporate
a green building initiative into each project's overall development scope.
Whether seeking a formal LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design) or just looking to incorporate selected sustainable
measures, our experienced staff work with the project team to evaluate and
implement well conceived green building elements that will yield long term
benefits.
Bowdoin Construction provides an evaluation of sustainable design options
for our diverse client base. Many of these options can be incorporated with
minimal impact on the short term budget. We collaborate with our project
partners to encourage and support our clients with a green building
initiative that maximizes long term energy efficiency and ecological
responsibility while also achieving our clients overall economic goals.
Bowdoin Construction was one of the New England region's first construction
management firms to become members of the
United States Green Building Council (USGBC) in 2002, and we are also
active members of the USGBC Massachusetts Membership Forum. In addition to
these organizations, we are subscribers to
BuildingGreen.com, which we
utilize as a valuable resource for up to date information regarding the
latest advances in green building products and applications.
