The Hockomock Area YMCA selected Bowdoin as construction manager for their new YMCA on a 27 acre site in Foxboro, MA. Bowdoin was brought on board during design development to assist the project team by providing progress budgets, and an evaluation of building materials and system options. The steel frame building consists of a main lobby, wellness center, aerobics studio, several multipurpose rooms for classes and childcare, male and female locker rooms, and staff offices. The project also included extensive site work to allow for future additions, as well as the construction of new outdoor tennis and basketball courts.
