Bowdoin Construction recently completed the fast-track adaptive reuse of
commercial office space into a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center
for orthopedics and endoscopic procedures. The 7,600 s.f. facility,
designed by Hardaway Associates Architects, required selective demolition,
extensive slab cutting and underground plumbing, all new MEP systems,
modification of existing fire protection systems, and medical gas piping.
The newly completed facility features three operating rooms, nurse's
stations, pre-op and post-op areas, reception/lobby area, doctor's offices
and a kitchen/lunch room.
